The Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Hikotaro Yazaki, will perform with a 125-person chorus comprised of members of The Voices and the Thai Youth Choir. The Voices, a 50-person chorus, won the silver medal at the World Choir Games 2006 in Xiamen, China, and the gold medal at the Asian Choir Games 2007 in Jakarta. The Youth Choir operates under the ONCC and is comprised of 80 singers aged under 26.

Pieces performed on the evening will include J. S. Bach's Air on G String, Bach and Charles Gounod's Ave Maria, the Pie Jesu from Andrew Lloyd Webber's Requiem, Tears of Dust by Narong Prangcharoen and the highlight of the programme, John Rutter's Requiem.

Two renowned sopranos, Monique Klongtruadroke and Teeranai Na Nongkai, will sing at the event. Italian-Thai Monique graduated from Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Music in Venice. She has performed as a soloist locally and in Italy and the US. Teeranai is considered one of Thailand's leading vocalists. Classically trained, she recently had a lead role in the musical Khoo Kama.
